Kendra: Portraits

Kendra is very near and dear to my heart.  I have taken her photos a number of times over the past year and a half, and I simply adore her and her sisters.  She managed to fit in 7 complete outfit changes (not something I would recommend to anyone arriving without a fully attentive entourage), and came out with an extensive portfolio of images!

Here are a few of my favorites:

Brett: Portraits

This is not the first time I’ve photographed Brett.  In fact, I actually met her through her older sister, Brooklyn.  I took Brooklyn’s senior pictures several years ago and have had the immense pleasure of meeting the rest of the family over time.  We have taken family pictures, headshots, sibling portraits… a number of things!  I absolutely love seeing repeat clients and  photographing them again and again.  After a while, it seems they can read my mind about directions… they know exactly where I want them to look, what I want them to do, and know all about “the walk.”  ;)  (Anyone who’s shot with me before knows about “the walk.”)

Anyways, Brett’s Grandmother contacted me about a shoot just for Brett.  Janet wanted to get a large print of her granddaughter to put in the guest bedroom (a growing collection of sentimental artwork!)  I adore the concept and had an amazing afternoon with these two ladies.  Brett is such a lovely young woman and is a natural in front of the camera!

Jason+Shelly+Kendyl+Kamryn+Kallie: Family

I first met Shelly a few weeks ago when she called inquiring about head shots for her little dancer, Kamryn.  I knew we were a perfect fit in that first conversation!

Kamryn’s head shots have won her several awards at the past few competitions (proud Mama Bear right here), and I was happy to get the chance to meet the rest of the family this past weekend.  Although the youngest, Kallie, had a double ear infection (poor baby) you would never know from the way she laughed  with her sisters!  What an amazing family.  :)

Ashley+Colin: After Wedding

When Ashley asked me to take after-wedding portraits for her and her new husband, Colin, I couldn’t have been more pleased.  I have been wanting to take some pictures like this for a while, so I jumped at the chance!

There is such a limited time to take couple’s portraits the day of the wedding.  Everything is on a time schedule and guests are waiting to celebrate with the newly weds.  This type of portrait session allowed us to take our time and really capture the sweetness of of these two lovebirds.  (Plus, it’s an excellent reason to wear that stunning dress again!)

I am in love with the way these turned out!
