BFF sushi date

Jhane was the winner of a BFF mini shoot in the city this year. I let her pick the “theme”, and she decided on a sushi date with her friend Hadiya! I suggested we could incorporate food props (I was thinking cupcakes or pretty drinks by a mural), and she totally ran with it!

This shoot turned out to be a lot more documentary style than a “styled shoot”, and that is totally okay. :) I had never been to a sushi train restaurant, so it was an experience for me too! I loved hanging and chatting with these two ladies… talking about college and internships and work and future endeavors. They are completely driven young women, and a breath of fresh air amongst a generation that so often is more influenced by “likes” than real world opportunities. I adore you both- thanks for letting me document this cute little outing to the Kura Revolving Sushi Bar!
